Built from real
engineering workflows.

The story behind srgnt.

The Problem

Engineers and engineering managers juggle Jira, Outlook, Teams, and a dozen other tools every day. The context-switching tax is real — and it compounds over time. Every hour spent navigating between apps is an hour not spent building, reviewing, or thinking.

The Product Thesis

What if your entire workday — tasks, calendar, messages — appeared in a single, unified view? Not another dashboard to check, but the actual command center you use all day. srgnt is that layer. It normalizes data from the tools you already use and surfaces what matters, when it matters.

Design Philosophy

srgnt is local-first by design. Your data belongs on your machine, not in someone else's cloud. The AI layer runs optionally and transparently — you always know what data it accesses and why. No surprises, no lock-in.

The Project

srgnt started as an internal tool to solve the author's own context-switching problem. After sharing it with a few colleagues, it became clear the pain was universal. This is the public release.

Get Involved

srgnt is open to contributions. If you're interested in building connectors, skills, or integrations, the project is structured for extensibility. Reach out at hello@srgnt.app.
